Spokane to host 2015 Affordable Housing Conference
A British author-journalist, a special correspondent with NPR and a former U.S. Congressman are the keynote speakers for the 22nd annual Affordable Housing Conference. Along with speakers, the event features a sponsor showcase, the Friend of Housing awards and several special events.
This year's conference will be held Oct. 5-7 at the Spokane Convention Center.
Featured speakers include:
- Michele Norris, author, host and special correspondent for NPR, who will deliver the opening keynote on Oct. 6;
- Johann Hari, a former columnist for The Independent (London) and Huffington Post, whose second book was published earlier this year; and
- Barney Frank, former congressman from Massachusetts and author of Frank (his memoir), who will deliver the closing address.
"Housing Washington" is a nationally recognized forum for learning, discussion, networking and collaboration. Registration is expected to open in early summer.
