In addition to several educational offerings led by influential experts in green building, the program features a keynote address by architect Nico Larco, co-founder and co-director of the Sustainable Citizen Initiative. Larco is an associate professor at the University of Oregon whose research work has focused on livability and multifamily housing.
The Built Green Conference is designed to educate the local and regional building industry on quality green-building practices, products and projects and to inspire groups to build sustainable communities. Attendees include builders, architects, designers, vendors, consultants, Realtors, government agencies and students.
